Perugia’s November 4th Piazza, shown here, is the heart of the old city, around which the most important edifices are grouped. Among these, the Palazzo dei Priori hosts the city’s administration as well as the important Umbrian National Gallery – a spacious, well-lit, well-organized and air-conditioned art museum containing works of great beauty allowing the visitor to follow the evolution of Umbrian religious painting and sculpture from the 13th to the 18th century.
