The Born District is currently the cool place to live. The Born sits between 'Via Laietana' and the 'Parc de la Ciutadella', and is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Barcelona.
The refurbishing of the buildings, and the opening of new fashion and trendy shops have brought a new life to the old Born area. This is a popular place to live among artists and designers. Foreigners also love this district.
The Born is also the place to go if you want to take a drink by night. Although there are some pubs and discos, I do not consider it a party district. It is more the perfect place to chat with friends under the stars.
As you can see in the picture, in this district is where the Picasso Museu is.
