The 'Sonar' is a festival of advanced music. House and techno music, international DJ's, performances and multimedia projections take over Barcelona for several days in mid June. The festival is split in two, the Sonar by Day and the Sonar by Night.
The Sonar by Day takes place in the Raval district (CCCB, MACBA, Centre d'Art Santa Mónica). The Sonar by night takes place in the Fira 2 (Hospitalet de Llobregat).
Foreigners from all over the world come to Barcelona to experience this unique festival. If you are an advanced music fan, do not miss the Sonar.
