15/37.- Palmyra, Tower Tomb of Elahbel, inside

In this picture you can see the interior of one of the floors in the Tower of Elahbel.

The walls of the tower had shelves where bodies were buried. The holes were sealed with stone plaques with portraits of the deceased person.
