Other interesting dive sites are Calangaman Island and Nuñez Shoal, somewhat farther away from Malapascua (2 hours).
In Calagan Island you will find drop off walls with soft and hard corals where snappers, fusiliers, and many other fish live. In the deeper parts of the walls it is possible to spot sharks.
Nuñes Shoal, next to Calagan Island, is a wall dive. In the shallower parts you can see sponges, soft corals and reef fish. In the wall drop offs you might see eagle rays and sharks.
