5/38.- Jiuzhaigou Valley, Semo Mountain

The range of accommodation in the Jiuzhaigou Valley used to be scarce, but this, like everything else in China, has changed a lot. Currently the offer is very wide. From cheap hotels with basic rooms, to five star resorts with luxury suites.

My advice is to go for a room in one of the new hotels. If you can afford it, go for one of the upscale hotels. The staff in some of the cheap hotels may not be very used to foreign visitors.

There is also the option of staying in a Tibetan Home inside the Park. Rooms in the colorful houses are simple, but clean. Most of the Tibetan houses have a shared bathroom.
