The province of Brabant, whether in its Flemish or its Walloon part, is traversed by a string of lakes. Among these, the lake of Genval is a popular week-end destination for Brussels families, and allows the practice of several water sports and offers many walks in the nerby forest. A source nearby furnishes the water for a famous brand of soda water.
