We are in front of one of the Expo’92 Pavilions. The 1992 Exhibition (Expo’92) took place in Seville to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the "discovery" of America. The Spanish Crown financed Columbus' Expedition in 1492, a few months later --on October 12th 1492-- Spaniards saw American soil for the first time. He wanted to go to the Indies traveling Westwards. Instead of arriving to India, he discovered a whole new world.
