On one flank of the Mont Saint Clair, overlooking the Sète harbour is the Cimetière Marin, where the poet Paul Valery lies buried among the mariners. Just above the cemetery stands the Paul Valéry museum, part of which is, of course, devoted to the poet, but other halls are devoted to local folklore, and others again host temporary exhibitions, thematic or on famous painters.
