14/27.- Sète, Georges Brassens

For those of you who are familiar with the French chanson, it is interesting to note that Sète was the birth town and home of George Brassens. The singer is still celebrated in the town. Restaurants and cafés are named after his songs, and singers in the streets will sing his songs to the tourists hoping to garner a few pennies.
