18/39.- Mallorca, Es Trenc

Es Trenc is a great beach. You can get to this beach on foot or by car. If you want to come by car you’ll have to pay a toll. Although beaches are public spaces in Spain (private beaches are not allowed), you’ll have to pay a parking permit (!) to the owner of the surrounding lands (one of the richest families in the Balearic Islands). If you don’t want to pay you’ll have to walk more than half an hour. Yes, I know it’s something upsetting, but it has the advantage that you won’t find many people on the beach.
