17/39.- Mallorca, Colonia Sant Jordi

Colonia de Sant Jordi (also known as Port de Campos) is located in the South of the Island. To get here you have to go to Campos and then follow the signs to Colonia de Sant Jordi. There used to be a defense tower and some fishermen shacks here. In 1879 a farming colony was founded, but the town wasn’t complete till the tourists arrived in the 1950’s. Since then the town has undergone a steady growth.
