9/41.- Cesky Krumlov, Bybaly Kostel Sv. Josta

In the Rozmberk towns the district below the castle was traditionally called Latran. In this district used to live the servants and artisans that worked in the castle. That’s where we are right now. This is one of the most beautiful areas in Krumlov. The tower you can see in front of us is part of the St. Jodocus Church. This church was built in the 14th century, reconstructed in the 16th century. The church was first a catholic temple, then a Protestant one, a Catholic temple again and in 1788 it was sold to a wealthy citizen.
