10.- Glasgow, Charing
Cross
Make your way back to Queen Street Station. Lunch anyone? Just
outside the station is the Counting House, a smashing place to eat
and to peek out the window at George Square. Fish and chips, liver
and onions - yum yum. By the way, there's a special toilet for the
elderly here, saves them the long walk to the regular restroom. Afterwards,
if you like to walk go for a LONG walk to the West End, or take a
bus. Either way, you'll go by Charing Cross. If you do indeed walk,
then stop by the Glasgow School of Art, designed by Charles Rennie
Mackintosh. To the left of Charing Cross is the renowned Mitchell
Libray, a great place to do research. If you continue however, along
