2/16.- Sein, the borough (1)

The borough occupies the central part of the island and has its own white-and-green lighthouse, called Men Brial. Water in the borough is provided by a dessalination plant, and its electricity by a power plant situated underneath the Sein lighthouse.  In winter, the dwindling population drops to about 250 inhabitants, while during the tourist season, it rises to about 1500.
