26/45.- Fontvieille: Daudet's Windmill

On a hill in a pine forest stands the windmill referred to in Alphonse Daudet's "Lettres de mon Moulin".  Daudet did not live here, nor did he write his "Lettres" here, but he visited the place when he was in the region and had long talks with the miller, some of whose tales in the local dialect may have inspired his stories.
