Another of the names associated with this city is Machiavelli (1469-1527), the politician and writer. Machiavelli’s most famous work is "Il Principe" (The prince). In this book, he describes his ideas about Politics. The prince with his inhumane, cruel and cynical behavior is a metaphor of the modern society --you will see that things haven’t changed much in 500 years if you read the book.
