On busy days in the tourist season, the beaches near the towns can be pretty crowded. But since parking facilities along the 15 or so km of road are limited, there is always plenty of space left for bathers. This picture shows Mont Saint Clair, with part of the town of Sète hugging its base. Its silhouette is a familiar sight and a landmark for whoever travels on or around the Bassin de Thau.
