If you like operas you should definitely buy a ticket at the Budapest Opera House. In its neo-Renaissance building (1884), many top directors perform, among others: Otto Klemperer, Sergio Failoni and Lamberto Gardelli. Making of the Hungarian Opera House one of the best Opera theaters in Europe.

One of the most famous directors who performed there is Gustav Mahler, who was the Opera director for two years. Also Pucini performed there twice.
