34/50.- Brussels, Schuman Square
Schuman Square, named after the initiator of the European Union, is a busy
traffic circle around which many of the European institutions are huddled.
Whenever an interest group decides to demonstrate, which happens rather
often, traffic flowing into Brussels from the east and south-east is heavily
disturbed, as demonstrators are most often denied access to the key areas,
not infrequently with the help of riot police and water cannons.
