While we stroll in this market I will explain you some interesting one day excursion you can do if you ever come to Bratislava. The most interesting towns in the Bratislava environs are Gerulata, with its Roman ruins. Gabcikovo, where you can get by boat and see the Danube water works built by Czechoslovakia and Hungary (finished in 1992). Pezinok, with its Rennaissance Castle and its famous wine. Modra, with its recreational resorts and its vineyards. And, last but not least, the Cerveny Kamen (Castle of Red Stone), built in the 13th century, it was one of the medieval border line castles which protected Hungary’s border..
