In this photo you can see a colorful fruit shop in the city center. If you cannot come during the Festival, Avignon is still a very interesting city. You will not only enjoy its architecture, but its restaurant offer -- which is almost unlimited. From Vietnamese to the most expensive 'haute cuisine', all kinds of foods are represented. You should also know that Avignon is the capital of the 'Cotes du Rhone' wines, one of the most appreciated wines in the world.
