41/46.- Alsace: Ungersheim Ecomuseum

A Strasbourg bourgeois patricians' house has been reconstructed so as to suggest a small fortified castle, whose inside rooms feature large stone fireplaces and painted wooden-beamed ceilings.

From the upper floors, the visitor enjoys an interesting view of the village, the adjacent pond and the railway station, from where an ancient train takes visitors to a nearby mine.
