39/46.- Alsace: Ungersheim Ecomuseum

The windows are generally shuttered, and some of the shutters are decorated. This one, in a more traditional vein, with a little heart.

The Ungersheim museum is called Ecomuseum because in addition to showing and maintaining Alsation crafts and traditions, it also militates for the conservation of the environment -- not a vain battle in what once used to be a heavily industrialized area.
