34/46.- Alsace, Mulhouse: Place de l'Europe

At a mere stone's throw from the old tourist centre, the Place de l'Europe is a modern pedestrian precinct, whose marble surface shows the arms of several European cities.  For lack of maintenance, the once monumental place is now in a poor state.
