29/30.- Tay Phuong Pagoda, old lady

In this picture you can see one of the local vendors. This was a nice old lady. She did not insist much when I said "no thank you". It was a pity I was not thirsty.

The dark color of her teeth is caused by a local plant that old people chew. This plant has an stimulating effect. Formerly it was also used to reduce hunger.
