14/30.-Perfume Pagoda, Thien Tru Pagodas

If you are traveling to Vietnam on your own, you will easily make new friends. One place to meet other travelers is in hotels. It won't be difficult for you to find a hotel if you go to Vietnam's main tourist towns. In Hanoi you will find many accommodation options in Downtown Hanoi (French District).

Another place to find other people to travel with, is in excursions like the Perfume Pagoda Tour. In one of these tours I met a New Zealander with whom, after talking for a while about our plans, I went on a tour through the Northeast of the country.
