13/30.-Perfume Pagoda, Thien Tru Pagodas statues

This is another of the wooden statues in one of the temples in the Thien Tru complex.

Buddhism is considered by some experts a philosophy more than a religion. Buddhists do not believe in a superior being. They think that you have to be a good person in order to get a better life after death. Although Vietnam is officially a communist country, many Vietnamese follow the Buddhism religion. Many of the ones who do not consider themselves Buddhists, pray when they enter a Buddhist temple.
