22/48.-Northeast Vietnam, house in the forest

Local people are not happy with their government, but they are very patriotic. They are very proud of what Vietnam has achieved. Vietnam is the only third world country that has won wars against some of the world's most powerful countries (mainly the United States, but also France). After many years of isolation, Vietnam is opening to the outside world. People I found were very friendly. The younger generations were very up to date. They followed international cultural and fashion trends.
