3/28.- Ko Lanta, Klong Dao Beach

On the Northern tip of Lanta Yai is the main town in the island, Sala Dan, where you will find shops, bars, restaurants and scuba diving schools. Sala Dan is also where the island pier is.

South of Sala Dan is one of the best beaches in Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach, a two mile long beach with white sand. In this area are most of the resorts in the island. Prices of accommodation in Klong Dao Beach vary from cheap to upmarket. Although this is the busiest beach in Lanta, the place is still quiet and peaceful.
