Spending time on the deck during stormy weather is generally not a good idea and tower officials sometimes close the 91st floor during inclement weather. Even during sunny days strong winds can push around even the heftiest visitors to the outdoor deck — It is a good idea to bring warm clothing with you whenever planning to visit the 91st floor.
