Malapascua is a small tropical island located north of Cebu, Central Philippines, with paradisiacal sandy beaches, but what has made famous the place are its dive sites.

Particularly popular among foreign divers is Monad Shoal, one of the few sites in the world where amateur divers can spot the thresher sharks.
