8/50.- Tokyo, Imperial Palace

In the center of Tokyo you find the Imperial Palace, or Kokyo, the former residence of the Imperial Family. You can reach the temple on foot from Tokyo Station.

The Imperial Palace Gardens are open to the public, but it is necessary to reserve ahead. The inner garden and the Palace's buildings are not included in the visit. They are only open on January the second and December the 23rd.
