20/50.- Kyoto, Kiyomizudera Temple

In this picture you can see one of the 18 buildings in the Kiyomizudera complex, the Three-tiered Pagoda.

The temple of Kiyomizudera is also a perfect place to go for a hike. A path will take you through a park with great scenic views. The best time to visit the area is during the spring and the fall. In spring you will see the cherry blossoms, and in fall the brown leaves.
