19/50.- Kyoto, Kiyomizudera Temple

One of the highlights of the Kiyomizudera temple is the Jishu-jinja shrine. This is a shrine dedicated to the ones who want to confirm their loved ones' affection.

Other attractions of Kiyomizudera are the main Hall's Wooden Veranda, from where there is a splendid view of the city of Kyoto; the Otowa-no-taki Waterfall, that gives the temple its name (Pure water), where you can drink the water of the waterfall; the Inner Temple, or Okunoin; the Amida Buddha Hall, or Amidado; and the Three-tiered Pagoda.
