In this picture you can see a detail of the tiles on the roof of the Daishoin Temple.

Daishoin Temple is also famous because it administers the historic spots where Kobo Daishi performed tantric rituals of Esoteric Buddhism on Mt. Misen for 100 days in the 9th century.
