Tiruchirappalli, also known as Trichy or Tiruchy is a city in the south of India, in the state of Tamil Nadu.

Located on the banks of the River Kaveri, Tiruchirappalli is the fourth biggest city in Tamil Nadu. The town is a commercial hub and industrial power horse in the region.
