Jodhpur, also known as the Blue City, for the Indigo painted houses, or the Sun City, for its daily shinning sun, is a city located on the edge of the Thar Desert in the state of Rajasthan.

The city is one of Rajasthan's main tourist destinations, thanks to its temples, forts and palaces.

On the following pages I will give you a sneak preview of this lovely Indian town and of the Jain temple in the neighboring city of Ranakpur.
