1/35.- Welcome to Jaipur, India

Jaipur, known as the Pink City, is the capital of Rajasthan, and the biggest town in this state.

Jaipur's main tourist attractions are the City Palace, the Palace of Winds, the Astronomy Observatory and its forts, the two biggest are Amber Fort and Jaigarh Fort.

In the picture you can see a detailed view of one of Jaipur's highlights, the Palace of Winds, or Hawa Mahal, built at the end of the 18th century as part of the City Palace by Maharaja Sawai Singh. The house has more than 900 windows, used by the royal ladies to see the street life without being seen.
