22/39.- Delhi, India Gate

India's Gate is located in a long avenue surrounded by parks. The arch was built in 1931 to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died during World War I and the Afghan Wars. The Arch is not as nice as other Archs of Triumph (like the one in Paris), but the area is nice visiting because it is always full of life. Locals come here to enjoy the parks and have picnics. Next to the arch there is a small lake where you can rent a boat.

Following India's Gate Avenue, you get to the Presidential Palace.
