23/39.- Delhi, Parliament House

This area of New Delhi is very different from Old Delhi (and other Indian cities). Long and broad avenues, green parks and open spaces, make strolling in this area a relaxed experience.

The Presidential Palace is not open to the public. It is not even possible to stop and take pictures of it. You can only see it through its gate.

The palace is a work by a British architect, and was completed in 1929. Its official name is "Rashtrapati Bhavan".
