Xian, Shaanxi History Museum
In the Shaanxi History Museum many of the treasuries found in Xian's archeological sites are on display. Among the most famous is this bronze chariot, which is supposed to be the vehicle that the emperor would have used in his afterlife inspections of the army.
The chariot was found in the Mausoleum of Emperor
Qin Shi Huang. Local experts worked
for
more than two and a half
years to put the pieces back together.
