23/40.- Xian, Muslim Quarter, restaurants

In this picture you can see one of the Restaurants in the Muslim Quarter. Grilling lamb in the street is the restaurant's best publicity. Apart from the skewed lamb, in Xian you can also have noodle soups, hot pot, lamb sandwiches, and one of the local specialties, the basket-steamed dumplings.

By the way, as in any Muslim Country, pork is nowhere to be found in Muslim Xian.

One of the highlights of the Muslim Quarter is the Great Mosque.
