32/35.- Tibetan Sichuan, Tibetan building

In this picture you can see how colorful the buildings are.

Before visiting Tibetan Sichuan, I was warned about local food. I was told local cuisine was poor, but after visiting the area, I disagree. Tibetan food is good. Restaurants in the region serve a good variety of dishes.

This area of Sichuan is very popular among trekking aficionados. Some agencies in Chengdu also offer bicycle tours.
