19/43.- Shanghai, Fuxing Park

Another of the nightlife areas in Shanghai is the Fuxing Park, where there is also a recreational park.

The Fuxing park is popular among old people during the day, and among local young at night.

In the park there is a statue of Marx and Engles, two of the fathers of Communism. I wonder what they would think of the way China is being governed nowadays. Old communist ideas are being sacrificed in order to make room for economic expansion.
