31/41.- Lijiang, the Black Dragon Pool

The Black Dragon Pool is where many of the picturesque postcards of Lijiang are taken. This is a public park with a pond, pavilions and bridges. On clear days there is a great view of the Dragon Snow Mountain in the background. Visitors have to buy an entrance ticket, which is not cheap.

The Black Dragon Pool park is outside the old town. To get here you can walk following the canal from the Water Wheel and ask for directions, or take a taxi.
