21/41.- Lijiang, old town, Mu Clan Mansion, main building

As you can see in the picture, the buildings in the Mu Mansion were built on a style similar to the one of the temples and houses in the Forbidden City in Beijing. The Mu Clan were under the jurisdiction of the Emperor in Beijing, after all.

The building in the picture is the biggest of them all.
