10/41.- Lijiang, old town, Square Market

Following the canals from the Water Wheel, you will get to the Square Market. This is the biggest square in the old town.

Local authorities pay Naxi people to perform traditional dances. You will find old women dancing and singing here all day long. Tourists enjoy this "authentic" display of local culture, some of them even join in the dances.
