Lijiang has two different parts, the old and the new town. Most of the tourist attractions are in the old town. In the new town there is almost nothing to visit. It is a rather ugly Chinese city. But it is good to visit in order to appreciate the old town even more. Unless noted, all pictures in this virtual tour were taken in the old town.
