Huanglong, Yellow Dragon Temple
The
Yellow Dragon Taoist Temple was built during the
Ming dynasty (1368-1644AD).
The three original temples, front, middle and rear, were recently reconstructed.
According to the Chinese information,
from the 10th day of the 6th lunar month every year
the
"Huanglong Temple Fair" takes place. During this Temple Fair
Tibetans, Han and Qiang people are supposed to meet and perform local dances. This Fair is actually only another of the inventions of
the Chinese authorities to mark out occupied Tibetan areas as being integral and undeniable parts of the Chinese Motherland.
